I had a severe manic episode while in Sertraline for migraines. I did crazy stuff and I'm still dealing with the shame. On top of that, the psychiatric nurse who was responsible for me, witnessed everything, yet didn't do anything about it. I was left alone during half an year with their knowledge of my manic state. I wish them something similar, so they can start to feel empathy, maybe...

I started and stopped Lexapro and started doing crazy aggressive stuff because it somehow made sense as a solution to stress I was dealing with. Now I am ashamed and people hate me. My career is almost damaged. I did things that are borderline criminal to people who did not deserve it. I think it combined with coffee and made the anger anxiety effect stronger.

@@claireh.7605 I'm so sorry that happened to you. People should be understanding about this issues. It was not your fault, you don't have to feel guilty for things you did without free will. If people don't understand, it’s because they have their own issues. I hope repair and healing can be done about those things. The fact that people don't even question why we change completly out of nowhere, means they aren't in their right mind, even if they look fine on the outside. That was a big lesson for me. I even posted multiple times that I was "taking around pills a day and that's why I might have turned into a sociopath" and didn't sleep for 3 days in a row sometimes, but people still behaved like it was normal 🤦‍♀️ and bullied me, even though I didn't hurt them. I was just egocentric. F*ck them honestly... if they are this dismissive, they are very self centered themselves. In this situations you see who has an healthier sense of self. Of course, if you did bad things they have the right to feel hurt, but at the same time they should know better and understand that something is not okay with us.

I was on a psychiatric drug and married an abusive man... i went off the meds and had all these realisations about what a bad relationship i was in.
I left and had a nervous breakdown. I did NOT go on any meds but just learned to take better care of myself emotionally, allowing myself to feel any and all the emotions I did.
I never condemned what i felt and just gave space to it all. I struggled with a bit of psychosis but im doing much better now and am drug free ❤

PTSD...not psychosis...??? Dear Lady, maybe you have adverse circumstances around you, and there is nothing wrong with you ! Think on this for a while. Just because someone says you need medication doesn't always mean it is true ! ! !

Because there are some things you don’t do to people no matter how many people say it helps them. One of those is called chronic akathisia. Things like chronic akathisia and other protracted and tardive injuries are crippling people. I am being tortured alive 4 years after stopping a benzodiazepine.
